Cactus die-cut sticker: PNG to SVG example
A potted cactus sticker with a thick white die-cut border and a dark outline, traced with cutting mode.
- Scales to any size
- One file from a favicon to a poster
- Editable shapes
- 18
- Colors you can swap
- 7+ 9 gradients
- File size
- 57 KB SVG
The original PNG is 32 KB. To print it 4000 px wide as a PNG you would need a 839 KB file (15x the SVG), and it would still be an enlarged copy of the same pixels. The SVG stays this size at every size.

Each of the 7 colors in the file is a value you can change, so the whole image recolors instantly. A PNG can only be recolored by repainting it.
Same file, any size
The SVG is drawn fresh at every size. The PNG can only be stretched or squeezed, shown here without smoothing so you see its real pixels.
Favicon, 16 px

Card, 200 px

Poster, 4000 px wide
A window of the print at full size, around the same detail.
The numbers
| Input | PNG, 1000 × 1000 px, transparent |
|---|---|
| Original file | 32 KB |
| SVG file | 57 KB (1.8× the original) |
| Paths | 18 |
| Anchor points | 1,753 |
| Solid colors | 7 |
| Gradients | 9 |
| Vectorizer mode | Cutting mode |
| Processing time | 23.7 s |
| PNG at 4000 px wide | 839 KB |
Processing time is the full request measured from the browser side, upload included. The SVG is published exactly as the vectorizer returned it.
What the vectorizer did
- Cutting mode produced 18 paths. The white die-cut border is one path around the whole sticker, and the dark outline is one compound path, which is what a print then cut sticker needs.
- The small STAY SHARP letters came back as separate shapes with faint gradients. Set them to one solid color if you print the sticker.
- Cutting mode works on a finer internal grid (4000 units across), so curves stay smooth when you scale the sticker up.
